Repair for pennies

The solenoid is the culprit. It is solidly constructed but there are two weak ponts in its makeup. O-rings. Two small rubber o-rings are strategic in the 'push-fitting' of the water course. From my days in aviation hydraulics I learned about the need to replace o-rings before they became crippled by ageing.

Replacement, once you remove the assembly (reasonably straightforward even in situ) is to buy a set of micro o-rings. Ebay sellers have 200 pack in various sizes for £3 delivered. Need one say more?
