Intermittent Low pressure light and cold water

The Triton T100XR I have can at times run fine then intermittently the low pressure warning comes on resulting in cold water then can return hot. At other times turning on the shower there is only cold water and the low pressure warning light, I have discovered that turning on the cold water tap at the sink then almost kickstarts the shower and it runs normally as long as the tap remains on. Have you any idea as to the cause of the problem?

Turn the shower temperature control from fully cold to fully hot. When you do this slowly there should be a gradual change in temperature and flow. At fully hot you should have not much more than a dribble coming from the hose, and on fully cold you should have a good strong flow. If you do not have this difference, or the flow or temperature is erratic, then you may have a faulty flow/stabilizer valve.

Also with your shower because it has a pcb this maybe the cause of the fault.
But changing it is the only way to check this.
