the shower flowes hot water at the right temp then you hear the click of and tripes the consumer unit

You may have an element that is beginning to fail however can you check ythat the fuse is the correct rating for your shower

 

8.5 kw   35amp

9.5 kw   40amp

10.5kw  45amp
