stabilising valve on the 7kw

on turning on the rotory control noticed water running out of the hand wash unit,after isolating the electric, removed the top & bottom screws to release front cover, released the rotory control from front cover placed it onto the stabilising valve gradually turned water control back on,the water seemed to be comming out of the top of the pressure switch/stabilising unit,As its in the Guest bedroom and rarely used and only 4 years old whats your advice please?

It would seem that the washer inside the stabiliser valve has become faulty. A new stabiliser maybe needed.
