Triton T80i leaking

Water in leaking internally and running onto the mains wire. Having investigated carefully I believe I have established that the leak is from where the Outlet pipe fits into the Canister Heater Assembly! The PDR is intact. I have also cleaned the Showerhead thoroughly and it works well. Could it just be that the washer needs replacing or is it more serious? It is a small but steady leak and I presume that the shower should not be used until it is resolved. Many thanks in advance for you help.

The outlet pipe is sealed into the base of the heating tank by an ‘O’ ring so there may be a problem there.

However the most usual place for a leak is the top of the stabilizer valve this can leak down the back of the valve and it shows at the base of the heating tank, so just check this first.
