Triton T80i fault

Whilst using the shower, the water flow coming out of the shower head reduced considerably and the hot water started coming out from the overflow valve. When shower attachment is removed, hot water is coming out from both the overflow and shower exit. Checked the shower head wasn't blocked by unscrewing head. Males no difference. The hot water flow is now split between the shower pipe exit and the overflow exit from the mini triton hot water cyclinder. Is there some sort of valve that may be perished which is accessible? Everything is functioning fine except for this divert of hot water to the overflow.

The 'overflow' is actually the pressure relief device hat has activated.

There may have have been something else that has gone wrong causing the PRD to activate but you can't check until you fix the PRD
