Hot and Cold

My shower is very hot then cold and there is a running noise when it is switched on. Can this be fixed?

The first thingsto check are:

1. That the main valve coming intoyour house is fully open.

2. Then check thatthe valve on the line to the shower is fully open.

If these valvesare not fully open then there may not be enough watergetting to your shower to open thepressure switch therefore no power will get to the elementsand the unit will show lowpressure.

Forgetting aboutthe temperature turn the shower from fully hot to fully cold at fully hot youshould have not much more than a dribble coming from the hose and on fully coldyou should have a good strong flow, if you do not have this difference then youmay have a faulty flow/stabilizer valve.
