Internal Wire Burnt

The shower has stopped working. I have opened up the unit and one of the brown wires is burnt. Any ideas why? I have attached a photo Many thanks

It hasn't been properly crimped or welded on to the terminal from new.

You nshould be able to get heat resistant cable and the other bits you need from Maplins

Or call in an shower engineer.
