Trition T80si New PRD?

We bought our house last year and inherited the shower, so I have no idea how old it is! Mid shower water started coming out of the bottom (no. 11). The hose and shower head were new last year. If you take the hose off, it does not come out, if you put the hose on, but no shower head it does not come out. I have tried 2 different shower heads but it still does it! is it just a new PRD that is needed? Would really appreciate an answer before I call my plumber!

Yes definitely sounds like a PRD Problem

It’s a safety device on the bottom of the heating tank or outlet pipe.

It is fairly easy to replace however there is usually something that causes it to blow, often a kink in the hose or the showerhead is blocked, so check this before fitting the new PRD.
