Triton T80xr

Hi, My shower on high runs ok unless it is turned down to heat 6 then the Low Pressure Indicator comes on and the shower runs cold (sometimes it will then run hot again) if it is 5 or below then the LPI will stay on. On economy the same thing happens at 5 and below. I checked the hose and head but found no fault in them. I then tried the flow test and turning the heat on highest the flow was still medium fast and on cold very fast. Is all of this normal or is there something else wrong? Thank you for your attention and the site is a real help to ordinary folk like me.

Regards

Tony

It sounds like you have a low pressureproblem however not enough to stop the shower operating therefore it shouldn’tbe a problem.

You could contact your local water authorityand ask what the pressure is in your area , your shower needs at least 1bar to operateproperly.
