Triton T80Z fast fit

Just fitted a Triton T80Z fast fit. Worked fine for the first day then the power on/off switch wouldn't hold on when you realised the button which in turn stopped the water flow. Removed the cover and sorted the problem (switch alignment). Refitted the cover and now the shower only gets hot when the power selector is in the COLD position. When switched to the Economy or High positions the water goes cold. Spoke to Triton and they agreed that the front cover and selector switch can not be installed incorrectly as the flat "T" shape means that it can only go one way..... any ideas?

The shower is new , therefore under warranty, so I would go back to Triton.
