Hot and cold shower

Hi I am having problems with my shower which is a Triton T80 Thermostatic. We have lived at the house 6 months and noticed the shower was installed 2015 according to the label on bottom of the shower. The shower keeps going cold and stays cold for some time as well the water flow decreases. I thought it was water pressure to be he house so we have had Seven Trent replace main stop cock and a new MDPE water pipe to the house. It has improved the pressure at the taps. Seven Trent have tested the pressure at between 1 and 1.5 bar. The shower comes direct from the mains water, I have checked the filter inside the shower which is ok and when pressure goes low if I turn the sink tap on the water from the sink runs as it should. When the shower is cold if I turn the temperature dial the shower pressure should change and it stays the same. The shower also schemes better in the evening not sure if this is coincidence. If I run the shower with cover off I can see that the water pressure does not lift the risers to activate the micros witches so I don't think it is a heating element. Can you recommend anything else to check. Many thanks Stuart

Having read your description the first thing I would suggest is you have a pressure problem also the shower working better in the evening also points to a pressure problem (there are less people using the water in the evening)

If the actuator on the flow valve / pressure switch /stabiliser is not lifting to touch the micro switches it can only be two things low pressure or a faulty flow / stabiliser valve

Very slight possibility that you have a fault with the thermostatic control, but the problem with the actuator needs to be resolved first.
