Triton T90 SI

Shower has tripped electric this morning. Constant drip from white drain/nipple behind hose outlet whilst shower is running for the past two weeks. Has something inside burst or worn to cause short?

I think the pressure relief device has blown.

It’s a safety device on the bottom of the heating tank or outlet pipe

It is fairly easy to replace however there is usually something that causes it to blow,

often a kink in the hose or the shower head is blocked, so check this before fitting the new PRD.

Check out the video at the foot of the page

Ifyou have a head with multiple spray patterns and changed the patternmid shower this may have momentarily closed the outlet which will havecaused back pressure in the unit which would cause the PRD to activate.

You may also have a fault in the heating can.
