Triton Thermal Cut-out 22009860

I would like a second opinion, I have been told that I can use this a replacement for a Trition Topaz T100SI, 8.5W TCO?

Due to the shape of this TCO it is unlikely ( according to Triton Technical) to fit correctly on this heating can for this type of shower.
