Service this shower

Good Afternoon, I have a Triton Thames dual control thermostatic shower which is not working properly. I think the cartridge needs either desacling or replacing. I have removed levers and grub screws completely but the on/off knob and temperature control knobs are stuck solid. I have tried pulling and gentle levering but cannot move them. The shower was supplied by you and has been installed for 14 years and been trouble free until now . Can you offer any advice on how to remove the knobs to service the shower please ? I live in a hard water area whih I know is no the best. Thank You, John King

The only thing that I can suggest is using some WD 40 non the area to see if that helps.
