This question is regarding Genuine - Triton Cappella/Dove Thermostatic Cartridge - 83308580

Need to switch off water first?

I have same problems as other report here. I have the Triton Muse shower.



Before I order this cartridge, I have perhaps silly question first: do I need to switch off the water supply before taking out the cartridge (obviously the shower tap itself is closed but does general supply need to be stopped too?).



And if needs to be stopped, do you think I require to 'drain the system' first... :-/

Yes you need to turn off the hot and cold water to the shower, and depending on the system you may not need to drain it down.
