cannot seem to switch off my shower

I think this is my shower and it has recently developed a fault which means that I cannot switch the shoser off completely. When you use the shower and attempt to switch it off the motor still runs and water is still coming out at a reduced flow and I am worried it may burn out the motor. The only way to stop it is by turning off the isolator switch which is not very easy to get to.

Difficult one without being able to see it could be a fault with the potentiometer on the front cover (not switching off properly ) or with the PCB or indeed with the alignment with the knobs not centering exactly where they should be

Sorry that this answer is fairly vague
