Re; Shower is too hot (oops, now its too cold)

Thank-you so much for the helpful answer to my post regarding the overheating shower. When I took a close look at the hose I noticed that the protetcive sheathing had frayed and he hose beneath was kinked. It must have been impeding the flow. Sadly I noticed this too late and the shower now does not heat at all. I imagine it has burned out the heating element or similar. IS this a write off or is it worth buying a new hose and trying to repair the thing? Many thanks! rob

First test the elements to see if they are faulty and if so a new shower may be the best option.
