Buzzing sound from T100si

My shower makes a fairly loud buzzing sound. It has started doing this in the past couple of months. The shower is five years old or so. it appears to work fine, no problems with temperature or pressure. The water in our area is very soft, nothing ever scales up. I think the sound may come from the heater or something related, because it stops the instant you press the button to turn off the shower. The water valve keeps going for a couple of seconds, without any buzzing. Any ideas?

It may just be a noisy solenoid valve or you are hearing the water heating up inside the heat exchanger (Like a kettle coming to the boil)

You probably need to try and work out where the noise is coming form for me to be any more specific
