Triton Topaz T100si heating problems

Hi I have a Triton Topaz T100SI that is 4 years old. it has an error whereby it will run happily at 38degrees (albeit at a slightly lower pressure thatn I am used to) and then it seems to detect a slight change in pressure and switch off stating the LP error message. The house mains pressure only drops very slightly due to another tap being turned on but the unit will not restart. then if I power off completely the unit restarts stating ok. I I then press ON it will only get to a max of 29degrees even at max temperature setting. There is some noise

from the unit in terms of a humming noise and some boliing/.heating noise.any ideas on what the issue could be as I need to fix it ASAP. It has a different shower head to the one that was supplied that is clean and scale free.

Thankyou

There sounds like there could be more than one fault with this, I’ll have to approach it one step at a time

The things to check first are.

1 That the main valve coming into your house is fully open.

2 Then check that the valve on the line to the shower is fully open.

3 then check that the scale trap is clean

You could give your local water authority a ring an ask them what your water pressure should be, they will probably say that the supply a minimum of 1bar (the minimum required to operate a shower)however press them and ask what it is likely to be first thing in the morning (when everybody is showering)

They could have the pressure turned down because they are working on the main, or because there is a burst pipe some where and they have turned the pressure down to try to save water, or the pressure maybe low just because there is a burst pipe somewhere, that hasn’t been discovered yet!
