Triton T80i Topaz

I have an intermittent fault with my shower.

Sometimes when turning the shower off at the panel mounted on/off switch the water flow stops but we then very quickly get a sound similar to rapidly boiling water. My feeling is switching the shower off is cutting the water flow but not always the power to the heater module. it will happen 20 tiem in a row them not for the next 20 etc.

Sounds like it could be one of the switches controlling the power to the heater but can anyone help with which one or advise on what else it could be.

Yes it is more than likely that one of your micro switches is stuck in the on position

The way to check which one is to turn the power off and using a multi meter check from the TCO to the elements for continuity there should be no continuity however you will probably find that there is continuity going to one of the elements follow that back and you should find your faulty switch.

In the mean time make sure that the shower is switched off at the isolator until this is fixed
