Burnt plastic smell coming from shower

Hello, I have just had a new Triton 2nd gen shower and i noticed that about 10mins into using it, a burnt plastic smell starts to come from it. Any idea why and how to avoid it? Thank you

Switch the power off remove the front cover and see if you can see any obvious overheating.

The usual place is the inlet connector block where the installer hasn't tightened up the cables properly.

If it is overheating anywhere else then give Triton a ring and they will send out an engineer as it is still under guarantee.
