No power

I used the shower fine yesterday but later on went to use it to clean out the shower area, switched it on at the main cord and the light came on but no light came on on the shower and it will not switch on.

Any idea as to what to try please?

Check there is a minimum  of 230volts at the connector block inside the shower, if not then it is the pullcord switch that is faulty , replacement can be ordered using the link below.
