Vibrating noise

Hi

My shower makes a vibrating noise when turned on.this stops when you turn it to cold.if you leave it running cold for a while then slowly add more hot it's ok,if you add it to quickly it starts vibrating again.this has been slowly getting worse over the past weeks.do you think it's the water mixing section? And if so is this a serviceable or replaceable part?

First this valve is designed to work on roughly equal pressures  so either low pressure or high pressure the fault you describe is normally caused by unequal pressures for example hot water supplied by a combi and the cold from a tank.

If this is the case you can fit flow limiters in to the valve to help solve the problem, see link to installation instructions.

In either case a service kit will help solve the problem.
