hi, shower has been fitted for over 8 years, all of a sudden you cannot turn the water off, only way to stop water is to switch the shower off at the mains. is this repairable or do I need to invest in a new one? thank you

If when you switch off the shower at the main isolator and the shower keeps running then you have a faulty solenoid valve.

When you switch off the shower at the main isolator and the water stops running, then you have a faulty on/off switch or a faulty PCB or a micro switch that is sticking on.
