Unstable temperature

The shower started getting very hot and then goes cold, setting had been same for ages so no changes to the settings have been made.

Is it worth repairing ?

Turnthe shower temperature control from fully cold to fully hot. When you do this slowly there should be a gradual change intemperature and flow. At fully hot you should have not much morethan a dribble coming from the hose, and on fully cold you shouldhave a good strong flow. If you do not have this difference, or theflow or temperature is erratic,  then you may have a faultyflow/stabilizer valve.

The part is cheaper than a new shower.
