A3093 MINIMALIST SHOWER

Hi. I've an A3093 minimalist shower which has has a temperature regulation problem over the past few years and I recently bought and had a plumber install a new front housing plus cartridge. Now I only get cold water. Testing the new cartridge (as shown in your excellent video) gave only about a 2mm increase in size when in hot water. Could it be faulty ? Also this is a concealed shower - I need to remove tiles to get at any water pressure adjustment values. Do they exist on a concealed shower or are they only present in the exposed showers ? Thanks

If the www.showerdoc.com/grohe-avensys-wax-thermostat-element-00798000 is moving 2mm that is find.

You may have a faulty number 1 "O" ring which is part of the , www.showerdoc.com/ultra-seal-and-circlip-service-kit-for-dual-control-thermostatic-valves-sasfor and is known to cause temperature problems. There are no water pressure adjustment valves.

Thank you. As I replaced the entire unit, with the exception of the No 1 O ring, I have no need for the service pack.

Could you please let me what size the O ring is ? Thank you.

We do not have the equipment to accurately measure "O" rings.

But we can supply and "O" ring for £4

If you would like one sent to you you can through the sales team , with reference , Barrie 3/4 temperature "O" ring.
