No hot water

Hi .I have taken the valve out of my 3/4 “ shower to try and clean it out as iam getting no hot water only cold.it’s surpled by a combi boiler.there is hot water coming in but only cold coming out.there was lime scale inside so I cleaned it with steel wool and wd 40.when I put it together and turned the water on it came through hot until I put the handle on then it went cold.can you please advise me.

The above part may be the cause of the fault.
