Beaumont sequential exposed valve A3380

Hi my shower has started to run a lot cooler than it previously did This has happened before and the plummer came round dismantled it and applied grease to a particular part , this worked for a while then the symptom returned . I ended up buying the whole unit again and this rectified the problem but now my new valve is playing up and the shower is running a lot cooler . Can I grease the valve easily myself and if so where and with what do I grease ? Or can i fit a new part to my valve without having to buy the whole unit again ?

You can grease the "O" rings and internal spindle parts. But I would test the thermostat.
