This question is regarding Ultra Infinity A389 3-way Diverter Cartridge and Handle (Chrome) - SINFC

No cap recess

I have an A389 purchased around 2006 that is leaking at the left handle control. However, unlike the schematic in your document section mine does NOT have a circular recess in the pushfit cap allowing it to be easily removed so as to allow access to the screw. What does one do in such a situation? Drill a hole in the centre, lever it out and then purchase a new cap?

This is probably not the cartridge for your shower in that case.

Some handles are removed by pulling off and others have a grub screw holding them on.
