Infinity shower 2008 - 2009 cartridge replacement

We have a problem, which we've had before, in that the shower doesn't turn off. The cartridge was replace in July 2010. The original cartridge appears to be 'not available'. Is the Ultra Flow cartridge a valid alternative?

It sounds like the cartridge is faulty if this is the case. The on/off / diverter cartridge can be found via this link provided - www.showerdoc.com/diverter-cartridge-and-handle-for-infinity-a389-sinfc
