This question is regarding Ultra JTY369/A3558 Thermostatic Cartridge - SBARCA04

Not sure about model

Hi, I am looking for a for the temperature control cartridge of a bar mixer. I believe it is a Ultra but I am not quite sure about the model. So, I am attaching some pictures of the shower bar mixer and the cartridge itself for identification, which is quite similar to the SBARCA04 and also SBARCA01. The problem is that the more I turn the temperature knob to raise the temperature the less is the water flow. In other words, if the temperature is 0deg, there is plenty of cold water. As I raise the temperature the water flow reduces to nothing. Hot water is normally supplied to any other tap in the house including the same bathroom. So, could you kindly confirm this is a Ultra shower bar mixer and if you have a spare for this temperature control cartridge? Also, is the issue reported likely to be resolved by replacing the temperature control cartridge? Many thanks, José Pedrosa

Yes this is the correct cartridge.

However before ordering it MAY be worth taking the mixer off the wall there should be inlet filters behind the large nuts unlikely but just possible that one of them may be blocked.
