Loose fitting

Hello, The previous owners installed our bathrooms, and we have this shower tap and diverter, which has come off. We cannot lift the cap to reveal the screw that we need to use to screw the fitting back on to the tap. Does that cap screw on or do you think it has been glued on by the previous owners? Would be keen to know your thoughts. Does this brand currently stock a similar diverter that we could replace ours with? We have a toddler so it’s important to that it’s screwed on properly.

If you can send a photo of the valve then there is a good chance we will be able to ID it.

I know which part it is, and I thought it was logged as part of my message to you. It is the Ultra Beaumont Diverter Kit SI315, which has been discontinued.

Most caps are held on by an ""O"" ring, so yours may have been glued on.

I asked for a picture to see if there was another alternative to the part as this is now discontinued and the manufacture does not do a replacement.
