Thermostat
First I would remove the temperature cartridge and make sure the filters are clean.
Also if you can try and get hold of the hot pipe leading to the shower, if it goes hot and then cools down then the fault is not with the shower, if the temperature in the supply pipe stays steady then you have a faulty cartridge.
