Removing the brass housing of the thermostatic valve SC50T32

Hi Can you recommend a tool to remove the brass threaded housing of the central thermostatic valve in the picture please? The housing is recessed making an adjustable spanner difficult to use and it might damage the external thread too. Any suggestions greatly appreciated - Thank you

If you put a couple of flat screw drivers into the cut outs on the brass housing, you can turn the housing off.
