Problem with Bristan Prism diverter valve

In your picture of the internals of the diverter you still have a part to remove.

The parts shown above will then fit in the space, as they are compatible with your shower.

Hi, thanks for your quick response. Does it mean that I need to remove all remaining plastic parts from the metal valve body? Then the 2 parts I suggested will fit in the body and they will function in the same way as the existing parts. Thanks

Yes to both.

They are very fiddly to fit , but if you grease them they usually hold together long enough to fit them.
