This question is regarding Vado Temperature cartridge - CEL-RETROFIT/B

Updated Cartridge?

Hi, I have been looking at this valve on your website - https://www.showerdoc.com/old-style-vado-wax-thermostatic-cartridge-cel-001b-b-wax It states that it is out of stock and that the CEL-RETROFIT/B is a suitable replacement, however the current valve is threaded and there appears to be no-where to fit a grub screw (I have had the cartridge out) so I am a little concerned over how this recommended replacement is actually going to stay in place.... Rgds Greg

According to Vado , the original body where the cartridge come out from should have a hole where the new grub screw will fit, hence their diagram.

If , on inspection , yours does not have one , could you send us a picture or two , so that we can pass it on to them?
