This question is regarding Vado Notion Concealed Thermostatic Shower Valve With Rectangular Backplate NOT-148B-3/4 - Shower Spares

O Ring

My shower has been leaking behind the tiling, which has led to floor damage.

Should this product be fitted with an O ring? This is what my plumber has told me I need but he didn't have one that fitted from quite a large selection.

If you are meaning around the face plate, then your plumber could have used some clear mastic etc to fit this.
