Replacing a HUB-001A-WAX thermostatic cartridge

My existing cartridge is stuck fast. I cannot see any obvious way of removing it to fit a replacement. Can you help?

It should just unscrew

 

However if it is stuck If you can try pouring two or threekettles of boiling water over the valve body this may expand the body justenough to release any stiction
