Watermill PR50D

Pump has failed after working perfectly for just over 12 months. Been fobbed off by Watermill Service Line who says its limescale build up or seal failure. We live in rural Aberdeenshire and water couldn't be any softer. Pump buzzes when shower control turned on. I've checked and the rotor turns easily without resistance. Both reed switches are working fine as i've tested them with continuity tester. Unpumpted, the cold and hot water flow is 1 ltr in just under 30 seconds. Any ideas?

From your description I think that the Capacitor is faulty.
