Whale Gulper not switching off

Hi

My pump is not switching off automatically. I was told the pump was faulty and i bought a new one but that one too did the same thing. What could be the problem please?

Thanks

Most likely to be the sensor depending on which Gulper you have some have a sensor on the waste and sense when the water is draining and some have a sensor on the shower supply and sense when the water is flowing, in the first instance try disconnecting it
