heat control

the heat control knob is very stiff, especially when in use and seems to stick before trying to adjust it. Also the heat on high setting has to be at 8 - 9 to get satisfactory water heat

You may have two problems with the shower , the flow valve and the heater . A new shower maybe a better option than replacing the parts.
